When you are going to travel in Canada, you definitely think about May to October are the best months for your travel. Actually, May to October have the best weather to go outside when you are in Canada. I also would like to travel in these months, but I also still want to travel in Canada's winter time.

This post, I will introduce Muskoka District. Maybe many people heard Muskoka, they just think about Muskoka Lake for honeymoons/weddings in summer/fall time. I will say I went to Muskoka in December, it is a very cold and impressed experience in my life. I will address two fantastic places, which are Santa's Village and Bracebridge Falls.
There are some pictures below which are I went to Santa Village with my bestie Emma. Santa's Village locates in Bracebridge, which is a park about all stuff about Santa.

When I went to there, there are many entertainments that are closed because those are seasonal. However, we still enjoy in the scene of Santa's Village  . Santa is in everywhere, and all of red houses. It is a good place for children and families. If you want to go to there, just make sure check the event schedule on their website Santa's Village, you will have much more fun time than my previous experience.

The other place is Bracebridge Falls. It is a very very nice place. Even though we were freezing when we were in there, we still see the beautiful falls in front of us. We were playing with snow over there.

If you are interested in Muskoka, I will recommend you to go to these two places. Or if you want to do some "research" about Muskoka before you plan to go to there, I hope Muskoka Guide Book The Top 10 things to do in Muskoka can be helpful for you.

Please leave your comments below if you want to say anything about Muskoka or to me. See you in my next post.

  1. I loved this post. Muskoka was a huge part of my childhood due to my grandparents living in nearby Huntsville area. Nature is so dear to me and as you demonstrate, Muskoka is definitely not lacking in this area. I look forward to your other adventures in Canada from a different perspective!

  4. Muskoka is often referred to as God's country. I certainly feel at peace in nature and perhaps closer to God. The landscape is beautiful and the fall colours majestic. Glad you had the opportunity to enjoy Santa's Village and Bracebridge. Have fun exploring North America.
